PICK UP FROM THE PORT

If you arrive by hydrofoil or by ferry and you don’t know the Island yet, we can pick you up and carry, free, until our car fleet.

General Conditions

  • Rentals are not based on mileage and do not include the cost for the chauffeur or fuel.
  • The rented vehicles must only be used on the Island.
  • It is absolutely prohibited to transfer the car from the Island to any other part of the continent
  • Rentals that begin in intermediate hours, end at 9.00 of the day after.
  • The Client must have a driving license that is valid for the rented vehicle and that was obtained at least 3 years before rental of the vehicle.
  • A rental day is based at least on 24 hours.
  • The 24 hours of the first day begin at 9.00 and finish at 9.00 of the day after.
  • The client is required to inform about possible anomalies of the vehicle promptly.
  • The defective vehicle will be considered by the client in perfect order and state.
  • The client blinds himself to give back the vehicle in the same conditions (except the normal wear in relation to the number of kilometres travelled) at the officers of the Dealer, during the rental period.
  • While in custody of the vehicle, the Client is directly responsible for any damage derived from excessive use of the vehicle. In relation to the number of kilometres travelled, the client is considered responsible for the total value in case of theft of the vehicle. Anyway the Client is obliged to take care of and use the vehicle with diligent attention as regards the proper usage and characteristics of the vehicle.
  • The sum of any fines or penalties incurred by the Client or the rental agency for violation of the driving code or other applicable laws, committed during the rental period, as well as the fixed cost of € 25.83 at expense of Dealer to the managing claims of the penalties.
  • In all cases the client will be responsible towards the Police, that drizzles penalties. In case of stolen car, the client must pay the cost of a rental day for every day of the stolen.
  • The client must send to the Dealer, in 2 days from the receipt, every order to pay a fine served by the Police. In case of non-return and/or postponed transmission, Client will be the one and exclusive responsible for all damages towards Dealer because of non-timely transmission. All vehicles are insured for civil liability in compliance with the law.
  • The RCA policy on the vehicles guarantees insurance coverage for civil liability towards third parties.
  • In case of an accident, the Client must ask for the names and addresses of any witnesses present (with the relevant Insurance Companies) and admit exclusion of responsibilities that are not certain. It'™s important to not leave the vehicle unattended, in order to immediately inform the Dealer.
  • Under the law 39/77 and 1913, the Client is obliged to report the occurrence to the dealer through a regular complaint.
  • In case of non-return and/or postponed transmission, Client will be the one and exclusive responsible for all damages towards Dealer because of non-timely transmission
  • The client recognizes the rental agency is excluded from any loss and/or damages to things aboard and/or forgotten, during and after rental.
  • If the vehicle presents damages during the rental period, the Dealer won'™t considered responsible for the any damage, contract and not due to the Client.
  • In all cases, the dealer, won'™t responsible for damages due to lack of diligent attention as regards the proper usage and characteristics of the vehicle.
